Corporal Jeffrey Huff, Supervisor

The Criminal Investigations Unit is part of the Bureau of Support Services.  Beginning in 2006, the Investigations Unit was expanded to three sworn officers when Corporal Jeffrey Huff was assigned as the Unit Supervisor.  Cpl. Huff had previously served in the Investigations Unit prior to his being promoted to Corporal in 1997.

The Unit assists the Patrol Section with calls for service, crime scene processing and criminal investigations.  The Unit handles all major criminal investigations handled by the Department.  Additionally, the Unit is responsible for the proper handling and storage of evidence. 

The Unit has diverse capabilities, assigned officers are also part of the Cumberland County Drug Task Force, Cumberland County Forensics Team, Cumberland County Crash Response Team and the County's Computer Forensics Team.
