Lower Allen Township receives fire protection from two separate volunteer fire companies operating out of three stations.
Lower Allen Fire Company #1 (Cumberland County Company 12)

Station #1 is located at the Municipal Services Center, 2233 Gettysburg Road, Camp Hill. Station #2 is located at 800 Rupp Avenue, Camp Hill. Out of these stations, the volunteers staff (3) three 1500 gallon per minute pumpers (Engine), one (1) rescue squad, one (1) 100' aerial platorm truck, one Utility truck and one (1) Chief's vehicle.
Lower Allen Fire Company #1 runs over 600 calls annually. Station #2 has a live in program for college students. Station #1, has dorm style rooms for live-ins, as well as, bunk rooms for the volunteer staff.

Lisburn Community Fire Company (Cumberland County Company 24)

Lisburn Community Fire Company is located at 1800 Main Street Lisburn. The Company operates one (1) 1250 gallon per minute engine, one (1) 3000 gallon tanker and a Utility truck from this station. Lisburn truly is a "community" fire company, hosting an annual Festival, complete with a tractor parade and home cooked food, bingo games and block shoots as fund raisers. Lisburn's location on the Township line with York County allows it to provide "first due" service to portions York County.
Lisburn's Ladies Auxilliary also host family style dinners throughout the year. All dinners are held at the new social hall to the rear of the fire station.
