Nestled on 110 acres of rolling land, LACP is an ideal location for retreats or meetings, weddings, parties, picnics, family reunions, and many other special events.
The park offers a "Barn", 5 pavilions, camp sites and athletic fields for rent.
The "Barn" has been renovated and is air conditioned, is equipped with basic kitchen amenities, and is ADA accessible. The Lower Level of the barn is equipped with a kitchen preparation area, refrigerator, tables, restrooms and room for 50 guests. The Upper Level of the barn is larger with wood floors and offers space for 120 people, a refrigerator, and kitchen preparation area.
The Tot Lot play area and pavilion are located near the entrance to the park, close to the barn. The Tot Lot is equipped with a slide, swings, rocking animals and various climbers. It is a popular pavilion for children's birthday parties. It accommodates approximately 30 people.
The Lower Pavilion is equipped with a horseshoe pit, sand volleyball court, a children's play area and 2 barbeque charcoal grills. Located in close proximity to the athletic fields, this pavilion could be used for tournament headquarters or the ultimate family reunion. Electricity and water are available. It accommodates approximately 120 people.
The Upper Pavilion is located in close proximity to the Field of Dreams playground and is an ideal spot for a children's birthday party. This pavilion also has a horseshoe pit, tennis court, basketball court, 2 barbeque charcoal grills, children's play area and a sand volleyball court. It accommodates approximately 120 people. There is NO electricity or water at this pavilion.
The Fernlawn Pavilion is situated in a somewhat isolated area of the park near the nature trail. You may even catch a glimpse of some Pennsylvania wildlife as you relax at the Fernlawn Pavilion. It has tables and 1 large charcoal grill. Electricity is available, but there is NO water or children's play area. It accommodates approximately 80 people. ADA accessible.
The Keystone Pavilion is the newest addition to the Community Park. Located in the center of the park, close to softball fields, the Field of Dreams playground and public restrooms. This pavilion is primarily used by athletic teams using the fields. It is equipped with electricity and seats up to 25 people. ADA accessible.

The Camping area is located on the banks of the Yellow Breeches Creek and is perfect for anyone who likes to get back to nature. These "primitive" camp sites are available for tent camping. A nature trail sets the backdrop for your camping getaway. This trail snakes its way through the park, pointing out native flowers and foliage.

If planning a Tournament is in your future, we welcome you to check out the athletic fields. Lower Allen Township Parks crew takes great pride in maintaining and grooming 5 soccer fields, 3 softball fields and 4 sand volleyball courts. Plans are underway to construct additional soccer fields along the Yellow Breeches Creek.
The Other Activities at the Park include: Basketball, softball, tennis, volleyball, horse shoe pitching, fishing (in Yellow Breeches Creek), bass pond fishing (for children 12 and under), bike riding, play areas, Field of Dreams Playground, golf driving range, nature trail, and a wildlife and bird watching area. In addition, cross country skiing and sledding are poplular activities during the winter months. LACP is also home to the "Doggie Dugout", a park for dogs to run and play off-leash.
If Fishing is included in your event, the beautiful Yellow Breeches Creek flows through the park and is a welcome spot to catch a few trout. A catch and release pond is also located near the barn and is open for fishing from Spring to late Fall. Parking is not a problem with many of the lots located in close proximity to the recreation areas. A non-motorized boat launch located near the camping area and creek soccer fields offers easy access to the Yellow Breeches Creek.
The Field of DreamsPlayground provides an opportunity for children of all ages and physical abilities to climb, slide and crawl their way through a unique playground. This ADA accessible "fortress" is located in the center of the park and is a safe and social environment for families.

Take time to stop, read and observe each station, and you will be introduced to the natural beauty, wonder and diversity in this small corner of Lower Allen Township.
